6 Best DIY Homemade Cleaning Products

      1. Tile Cleaner

Put half a cup of baking soda in a bowl. Pour liquid soap on top. Add 10 drops of essential oil (lavender, tea tree, etc.). Stir well for several minutes. Use a sponge to clean your tiles with this solution.

      2. Over Scrub

Mix 2 cups of boiling water with one tablespoon of eco dish liquid and one teaspoon of borax. Put the scrub into a sprayer bottle and spray on the oven. Allow the cleaner to stay for 15 to 20 minutes and then wipe clean. If the surface is too grimy, leave the spray on longer.

      3. Window Cleaner

Mix one cup of rubbing alcohol, one cup of warm water, and one tbsp of vinegar. Put the mixture into a sprayer and start cleaning. This mix may not smell too good but it does a grand job cleaning your windows even in the winter. You can also use it on tiles to give them extra shine.

      4. Garbage Disposal Freshener

Separate pulp from the lemon and throw it into the garbage disposal along with some peel. Allow the water to run for a second and then turn the disposal on. You’ll enjoy a pleasant citrus smell for days.

      5. Microwave Cleaner

This one is a personal favorite because it takes the scrubbing out of the microwave cleaning, let alone extra expenses. Take a microwave-safe bowl and pour two cups of water into it. Add one tbsp of vinegar. Put the bowl inside the microwave, turn it on, and wait for about half the water to evaporate. Stop the microwave and wait 10 minutes before opening the door. Remove the bowl. Use a sponge to wipe the microwave clean.

      6. Air Freshener

Mix one ounce of rubbing alcohol with six ounces of filtered water. Add 30 drops of essential oils (choose the smell you like best). Pour the mixture into the sprayer and voila! The solution will stay potent for at least 4 weeks.
